Jeremy Harkey, MA, MBA, and IFC-certified coach is a leadership and executive coach and Northbound consultant. Jeremy expertly guides families in the process of engaging the next-generation in the family business, office and/or foundation, enhancing communication and decision-making dynamics along the way. He integrates his personal and professional experience to support clients who aim to align their impact (human and financial capital) with their values. Entrepreneurship, career transitions, and relationship dynamics are other speciality areas.
Outside of Northbound, Jeremy manages a venture capital fund that invests in companies that generate a positive social or environmental impact. He came to his current professional pursuits by way of long-term work with the United Nations Refugee Agency in Ecuador and the Dominican Republic. He also conducted humanitarian research throughout SouthEast Asia and East Africa, particularly in post-conflict and disaster-affected areas.
Jeremy lives in Evergreen, CO with his wife, Dr. Katie Spencer, and family. When he is not working you might find him mountain biking, trail running, or fly fishing.
